About the factory

In addition to the pressing and refining of oils, the modern technology of the pressing plant will also enable the production of extracts from herbs or the distillation of essential oils. These products will then be used to produce galenics (tinctures, ointments, herbal capsules, etc.). The extracts will also be encapsulated (sealed) in various carriers (e.g. alginates, cellulose, etc.) using advanced spray drying technology. This technology will give the extracts a powder form, which facilitates their further processing in the production of ointments, creams, and other cosmetic products or food supplements, and also improves their shelf life and the availability of the active substances of the herbs.

Seeds of sunflower, oilseed pumpkin, rapeseed or flax will be processed. After the seeds have been cleaned and further processed, students will proceed to the actual cold pressing stage. The oils extracted will be suitable for use in cold cooking, not only because of their characteristic taste and aroma.
